Game 1 -- Sensory Friendly Information:

In an effort to embrace the spectrum of human experiences and create an opportunity for more neurodivergent people to attend a roller derby bout, various modifications will be made for this event, including:

  • Announcing will be done in the style of a silent disco, versus with a microphone and loudspeakers - brought to you by Altitude Beats (www.altitudebeats.com).

  • Limited spectators will be allowed (it will be capped at 100 people - game 1 only)

  • Chairs will be available, as well as bleachers, for spectator seating to better allow for personal space.

  • The event will be held in the afternoon, limiting the need for overhead lights.

  • Officiating will be adjusted to limit whistling (typically used for starting a jam, penalties, marking the lead jammer, calling off the jam, etc.).

  • All spectators, skaters, volunteers, and officials must agree to our Agreements and Guidelines below.

  • Sign up to skate: https://forms.gle/RCXMJFf5dcjX3XQH8

Game 2 Information:

Project Mayhem will face off against Cheyenne Roller Derby Capidolls. This will not will not be a sensory friendly bout. Project Mayhem is RMRD's draft & development B/C level travel team.❤️🖤🥊We will have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options at our bar, brought to you by Ratio Beerworks, Room for Friends . . . A Wine Bar!, and SoBo Liquors🍾✨

Parking:

Parking is VERY limited -- if at all possible, please carpool or take advantage of RTD options. The Evans Street Station is a quick walk from the Rollerdome and serves RTD's D, E and H lines as well as the #21 bus route.

Street parking is available in marked areas and throughout the neighborhood near the Rollerdome. Please be considerate of our neighbors and nearby businesses by making note of the area you are parked to ensure you are not blocking residential driveways or Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue's parking spots.

Proceeds from this event will go towards renting our joint-league home with Denver Roller Derby, the Rollerdome. RMRD is a non-profit organization that relies on the support of our community to provide action-packed, (mostly) family-friendly fun on four wheels.❤️🖤
